I have been using this for the past 1.5 years without any complaints. I was tired of using a earphone set, with obstructive wires….& this wireless headset was exactly what the doctor ordered ^_^ .
I am posting this review (very late I know…the product was launched 2 yrs ago!!!) so as to inform others of how good it is.
There are a group of people who have complained against this product since it might get spoilt if drenched in water(lots of exercise?)…but then..which electronic goods doesnt?…Read on ….

Advantages :
  • Excellent audio quality.
  • Very light Player.
  • Easy to use controls (Right Ear – forward, play/pause, back & Left Ear – volume up/down, call answer/end/voice dialing/last call )
  • LED indicates status – Blue(start), Green(play), Orange(Charging), Red(Shutting down).
  • Comfortable.
  • One can answer calls using it since it contains a speaker also.
DisAdvantages :
  • Audio stops playing if external things get too shaky (eg: travelling on pot hole filled roads)
  • One cant listen to the radio via this.

 
1 last thing….Beckham was its brand ambassador when it was launched :P

Chances are that one has grown curious about this device after viewing the new ads on TV. People in my family got so excited that we started placing bets regarding the price of the device !
Some info regarding the new Sony W-Series Walkman – NWZ-W202 :

Advantages :
  • Excellent audio quality.
  • Very light Player.
  • Very simple controls (which exist in the right earpiece.)
  • Good Battery life of 12+hrs.
  • Comfortable.
  • Shuffle mode + Sequential mode available.
DisAdvantages :
  • Music management (Zappin feature of song preview can be better. Ipod’s VoiceOver feature should be seen.)
  • Dependancy on Sony’s Content Transfer software for transferring music (needed 4 Zappin feature usage.)
  • No Radio.

 
My Conclusion : Fantastic device which should impress everyone.
But I will wait for the next version(if it comes) to make up my mind ….since I am currently using the Motorola S9 (Wireless Music via Bluetooth) & I still rate it higher !
